(U.S.) New Jersey: State to probe distribution of Ku Klux Klan publication
Courier Post reports: “The state’s Division of Criminal Justice has launched a criminal probe into the distribution of a white supremacist newsletter in parts of Burlington County in May.”
— “The investigation, launched in June, was confirmed in a letter sent to lawmakers in the 8th Legislative District from Lt. Stephanie Stenzel of the division’s Major Crimes Unit.”
— “‘The Division of Criminal Justice has received your letter, dated May 18, 2009, along with a copy of ‘The Klansmen’s Voice,” Stenzel wrote.”
— “The newsletter, distributed by the United Northern and Southern Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, was left outside an unspecified number of homes in those two municipalities, according to the lawmakers, who called its racially-fueled contents ‘hate-filled and divisive.'”
