WKBW Buffalo Reports:
Frewsberg, NY: “‘Hanging right down in front of the door. Right here.’ William Dale Senior says it was his son who first saw the noose. ‘My son stuck his head in it and he said, dad what they going to do? Hang us? He put his head in it.'”
“Next to the noose, Dale found a racial slur written on the windows and the siding of his house. The letters ‘KKK’ were scrawled across the driveway. Dale’s son begins reading the racial threat aloud, which is still visible. ‘It says die,’ he says.”
“Dale says he’s been a victim of racial slurs in this town before. ‘What they going to do, burn us up while everybody is sleeping?'”
“The Dales are one of the few African-American families in the town of Frewsburg. Residents are shocked that anyone would target William. ‘He’s a really good guy. He comes into this store all the time, says good morning ladies. How was your day.'”
